Embassy of the Netherlands in Georgia in cooperation with Women Business Council in Georgia (WBCG) started six months female business development program. In the framework of the project, selected participants will receive practical knowledge and mentorship by Dutch business expert followed by study visit in Netherlands, where selected participants will have an opportunity to introduce their business activities to potential partners and gain
international experience.
In the framework of the project Mentor to Mentee program will be conducted were selected participants will mentor other women entrepreneurs and share gained knowledge. The Women Business Council Georgia will cooperate with partner organization Co-Motion Consult in Netherlands.
Partners recognize the importance of empowering women entrepreneurs in order to improve their living standards and alleviate poverty in Georgia. Organizations agree about favorable potentialities for strengthening international women entrepreneurship through collaboration between The Netherlands and Georgia with a focus on business innovation, talent development, matchmaking, mentorship and networking.
Co-Motion Consult, working in close collaboration with Nyota for this project, is a consultancy company from the Netherlands with many years of experience in talent training and supporting women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries through connecting these entrepreneurs successfully at international level to other companies and technological and advisory institutes. Its program called the ‘Brilliant Entrepreneur’ includes an intensive process of business development and innovation based on a combination of trainings, matchmaking, technical support and mentorship
